Reviewers really liked the location for being a convenient base for exploring central Madrid on foot. In general, visitors found it a suitable location for sightseeing, shopping, museums and trying Spanish tapas. Public transport connections are easily reached with Sevilla metro station about 100 meters away.
A majority of guests thought the hotel had modern features and well-cleaned, sufficiently-sized rooms. Most said their stay was comfortable and that, for the price they paid, the hotel represented decent value for money.
Most visitors paid tribute to the staff for providing and warm, friendly and efficient service. Reports described personnel as being happy to help with everything from transport tips to dining recommendations.
A few reviewers said they stayed in rooms with small windows which limited natural light within.
Occasionally, non-functioning air-conditioning caused bother for some reviewers who struggled to sleep in the Spanish heat. There were also reports of guests being kept awake due to street noise affecting some rooms. Others mentioned being able to hear noisy plumbing and fellow guests walking in the corridors. The free Wi-Fi was described as too slow by a few travelers.
This hotel offers a buffet breakfast as an optional extra, but there's no grab and go breakfast thrown in with the room rate. Some guests who tried the buffet felt it was a little bit expensive considering there are so many dining options in central Madrid.
