About Relais Antica Badia - San Maurizio 1619

The 5-star Antica Badia Relais Hotel is situated in the historical centre of Ragusa (city of UNESCO), in front of the San Giovanni Cathedral, at a short distance from Ibla. After a long and precise restoration, this beautiful XVIII century building opens its rooms to hospitality. The stairs that introduce to the house, in typical stone pitch and with inserts of white limestone - XVIII and XIX century - have been perfectly preserved as some ceramic floors in Caltagirone’s style from the same period. Thanks to the tireless local workforce, lounges have returned to their original majesty. The chandeliers that light the frescoed ceilings have been redesigned, from the original ones, by Murano’s glassmakers. The 12 rooms are quiets and all differently furnished with design furniture, antiques, precious chandeliers and tissues. On the ground floor, the wellness centre is equipped with sauna and Turkish bath providing massages and personalised treatments, in Exclusive Formula. Room service 24 hours a day; internal parking 24h; laundry service; Sky TV Gold; Internet Wi-Fi free of charge; concierge 24h.
