The 5-star Antica Badia Relais Hotel is situated in the historical centre of Ragusa (city of UNESCO), in front of the San Giovanni Cathedral, at a short distance from Ibla. After a long and precise restoration, this beautiful XVIII century building opens its rooms to hospitality. The stairs that introduce to the house, in typical stone pitch and with inserts of white limestone - XVIII and XIX century - have been perfectly preserved as some ceramic floors in Caltagirone’s style from the same period. Thanks to the tireless local workforce, lounges have returned to their original majesty. The chandeliers that light the frescoed ceilings have been redesigned, from the original ones, by Murano’s glassmakers.
