Residence Antico San Zeno is a hotel apartment set in a historic building that dates back to the Middle Ages. Each of the apartments has a private bathroom and kitchenette in addition to one or two bedrooms. They are elegantly furnished while retaining some of the buildings original features. They are cleaned daily, including the kitchen and have air conditioning. Reception is open twenty-four hours a day from where guests can book a car hire service. Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartments and guests also have access to the two suanas. A breakfast buffet is available daily with the option of being served to your room. The central location makes this an excellent spot for those wanting to visit Verona's beautiful sights. With the Juliet Balcony and Roman Arena only a few minutes walk away getting to the main tourist attractions is simple while the San Zeno area itself offers a quiet and relaxed escape from the busy city life.
The staff are very well regarded by previous visitors who have found them to be polite, warm and helpful. This is particularly useful for first time visitors to Verona as the staff are happy to share their great local knowledge, giving recommendations for sights and restaurants.
The comfort of the beds seem to split opinion here with many guests finding them too hard for a comfortable night's sleep.
Several guests have commented on the fact that the showers here are quite small and there seems to be a recurring problem with the water temperature. Guests would also like to see their toiletries replaced on a more regular basis.
A few small points make this hotel a less convenient option. The hotel lack a lift which can make it difficult for the less mobile and those with heavy luggage while Wi-Fi fails to reach the bedrooms.
