Guests found Reykjavik Lights’ stylish Nordic design and interesting concept to go down well, with the modern, clean and minimal rooms, bathrooms with lovely showers, free Wi-Fi, and convenient parking coming together as good value for Reykjavik.
The reception staff here proved to be fantastically accommodating and friendly, and those who stayed said they were also great with reservations, town tips and directions.
You will find the hotel to be well-located for some nice restaurants, a supermarket and the geothermal pool complex nearby, and even though a few guests considered the location a bit removed from the city centre, they said it was still just a short bus ride or drive away. Additionally, others said that most excursions will pick you from the hotel, so you may not even need to head downtown.
The buffets breakfasts at Reykjavik Lights may not have had the cooked options a small number of guests were pining for, but many others found it to be great with wide selection of continental fare, some local specialties and delicious, freshly-baked pastries and bread.
