Set on a tranquil hillside in Afitos, it looks out over the Sithonia Peninsula and endless blue seas. It’s a few minutes’ walk into the village where you’ll find a huddle of shops, bars and restaurants. So location-wise it ticks all the right boxes. The hotel makes a big impression, too. Built in traditional stone, it looks right at home in its surroundings. But on closer inspection, you’ll find this hotel is more boutique chic than authentic Greek. Take the curvy swimming pool. Set into a stylish decked terrace, it’s surrounded by contemporary sun loungers that face out to sea.
