About Riverside Phnom Penh

Amari is a good value Khmer owned hotel around the corner of it's sister hotel Paragon which is better known. Paragon is riverfront, Amari just 50m from the river and having a front room means you will see the river. The rooms are rather basic but have all you need when just staying a few days. All floors have surveillance cams, but nobody would like to make troubles in this hotel anyway because the owner of both is quite powerful. Amari has free Wi-Fi with good speed but it covers not all rooms even they have routers installed on all floors. All rooms have A/C and TV but not yet flatscreens and sometimes a bit noise on TV is Khmer style. But you won't have time anyway to watch TV as just downstairs the girlie bars pile up. 136 is one of the busiest nightlife areas and top location in Phnom Penh right at riverfront. Just a few minutes Tuk Tuk ride and you get anywhere when paying 2-3 bucks.
