Guests liked the location of the hotel close to Downtown Newport. They also liked the close proximity of the hotel to many restaurants, prime attractions and the beaches. Many guests felt that it is good value for money, as the price is affordable.

Guests found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. They were found to welcome all with a smile. They willingly tried to fulfil the requirements of the guests.

Guests found the breakfast to be basic and simple, but adequate.

Guests felt that the outer structure of the hotel needs to be restored on an urgent basis. They complained that the door from the parking to the hallway had a broken lock, and anyone could walk into the building. Hence many felt unsafe. They also complained that the whole premises smelled of a strong chemical. They have recommended that the housekeeping staff use a milder chemical.

Guests were dissatisfied with the cleanliness level of the rooms. They saw visible dust everywhere, and that carpets were not vacuumed daily. They also complained that the mattresses in most rooms were lumpy, and in bad shape. Guests also complained that they could hear the conversation in the adjacent room clearly. Soundproofing of the walls is highly recommended. Another issue was that of the barking dogs that disturbed sleep all night.

Ice machine was out of order all the time. Guests recommended the clearing of all the debris in the parking lot. The hallway and the rooms could do with maintenance and cleaning.
