Hotel Roman (Borşa, Romania)

Roman Hotel is located far from urban bustle and noise, near famous tourist sights (Mocăniţa, Merry Cemetery, Sighet Memorial, Barsana Monastery, wooden churches) and Rodnei Mountains near Horses Falls, on the border of Bucovina. It is said that in the Maramures hosts are welcoming and there is a plenty of good food. It is certainly a word that suits us, because you will not find a hungry or thirsty man in Maramures. With traditional Romanian cuisine and with international cuisine, the kitchen satisfies the highest standards, both in terms of taste and recipes. Many ingredients used are from the property's own production or from local peasant farms. In Maramures, every householder is proud of his horinca (Romanian plum brandy), and, in turn, the hosts are proud of their horinca made by local recipes. Opened in December 2014, the hotel has 31 double rooms (all equipped with LCD TV and cable TV, bathroom, double extra large), indoor heated pool with a splendid view of the Rodnei mountains, restaurant, bar, parking with video surveillance, outside terrace with grill and oven.
