Hotel Sawasdee Village (Kata Beach, Thailand)

There is an outdoor pool at the hotel along with a large garden area. Guests explain that the design of these is excellent and really gives the grounds of the property a unique appeal to them.

Travellers rave about the effort of the employees at the resort saying they work very hard to ensure everything is to your liking. The staff is also extremely friendly and offers the type of hospitality that Thailand is famous for.

Visitors point out that the location of the property makes it an ideal place to explore both Kata Beach and Patong without having the deal with the hordes of people staying in these areas. Kata Beach is a ten-minute walk from the hotel and there is a free shuttle that can take you there. Patong Beach is a 20-minute drive away.

The decor of the rooms was not all that popular with a number of visitors who say that things look a little dated overall. In addition to this, some of the in-room furnishings appear a bit worn as well and can detract from quality of the resort.

Mosquitoes can be a problem at the resort. Several travellers note that you might be bitten by them when out and about and add that the hotel should do more to try to eliminate this problem.

A few guests complain that the rooms are somewhat cramped with the bathroom in particular being a little on the small side. While the property itself is quite large, the accommodations could use a bit more space in the eyes of some visitors.
