The lodge at Sawmill Creek resort is a four star retreat on the edge of Lake Erie offering guests four restaurants and an indoor and outdoor pool. There are two hundred and forty en-suite rooms benefiting from open gas fires, sunken baths, huge beds and beautiful views. The lodge itself offer guests free Wi-Fi and parking, plenty of options activities available such as golf, bike hire, wine tours and sports facilities. The four restaurants cater for all tastes including lakeside views at the Mariner's Dockside restaurant, a snack bar, a pub for relaxing in and a Saloon for music and dancing. The lodge at Sawmill Creek has so much to offer including team building days, a pool, plenty of water sports for all ages, walking tours of the surrounding areas, golf and boating on the lake.

The views over the lake are quite special from the lodge. Those who have stayed in lake side rooms and left reviews, highly recommended staying here and will most definitely return. The owners offer guests a free ride to the beach to save driving and losing parking spaces.
The lodge and its surrounding area has so much to offer all ages. Amongst the water sports, tennis courts and walks, the reviews all say there is never a dull moment as there is always something else to do.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with all amenities. They are described as clean and tidy and offer everything needed for a good nights sleep. There are many happy guests.
There are unfortunately many reviews regarding the out of date furnishings and fittings as well as the outside of the lodge needing painting. Many people have been disappointed with the interior when they have arrived and have been put off coming again.
The pool is rather large and accommodating but there are comments from some previous guests to say its dirty, the filters don't work and there is never anyone around incase of an accident.
The four restaurants are very busy most of the time, the food have been described as tasty but the staff have been slow to come to guests tables to offer drinks, as well as there being long gaps between courses.
