The Hotel Scherer is one of the few family run hotels in the 4 star category and it lies next to the river promenade approx. 1 km from the historic and old part of the city of Salzburg. The Hotel is renowned for its traditional charm as a city hotel. The rooms are quiet on the garden side or on the way-side of a moderately quiet residence. All rooms are bright, friendly and equipped with air conditioning and other amenities. It is a non-smoking hotel. There is a daily and rich buffet in the morning, available from 6:00 to 10:00, on a lovely weather day you could also enjoy your breakfast on our botanical garden terrace.
