Scottsdale Links Resort has apartment-style accommodations, which are ideal for longer stays and for traveling with family. They are spacious and comfortable with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms. They also include private balconies. They are also clean and quiet, making for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
The resort is well maintained with nice grounds, a playground for children and an adult and family pool. The BBQ area is great for an evening meal and there are grocery stores conveniently nearby for supplies. If you prefer to dine out, there are plenty of options in the area.
Front desk staff and the concierge service are both helpful and polite. They are very accommodating with room selection, late arrival times and requests for towels, cribs and more. The desk is efficient at arranging golf times and quite knowledgeable when it comes to providing area information. They make the stay welcoming and comfortable.
The accommodation is clean and spacious but a little outdated; the carpets and furnishings could use a refresh. Also, the buildings are three stories but there are no elevators; if you have young children or mobility issues, you may prefer a lower floor. Overall however, it's very good value.
Be prepared to listen to a timeshare sales pitch during your stay at Scottsdale Links Resort. They'll push you to attend but it's really not worth your time, unless you are actually interested in buying.
The air conditioning/heating system is extremely loud and can keep you up at night.
