Situated on 20 acres of the Southern shoreline of Kauai, water activities, championship golf, and dining under the stars are ready to be enjoyed on the beautiful shores of Poipu beach. Rooms are housed in low-rise buildings no higher than a coconut tree, with unobstructed views of the lush surroundings. Some rooms feature adjoining doors for groups traveling together. Balconies and outdoor furniture make the most of the tropical setting. Two outdoor pools and an activity center with scuba, snorkeling and boogie board equipment lets you take full advantage of all water sports. Traditional Hawaiian activities offered include learning Hula and the ukulele. Four dining options are available on-site. Sit back and watch the bright blue waters of the Pacific Ocean or a mesmerizing orange sunset from several oceanfront eating choices. Go for a hike at nearby Halelea Forest Reserve. Or get out your surf board to use at one of three neighboring beaches.

With a tropical drink in hand, and the sound of ocean waves lapping in your ear, you will truly be on vacation at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. With two pool areas to choose from and a large beach area, guests felt there was plenty of room to relax and unwind.
Kids eat free at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Easy access to cribs, and a host of activities to burn off energy were positives for parents. Stretch it out with the kids at yoga or explore the tide pools, some of the many daily activities planned at the resort.
Staff seemed ready to make your stay a memorable one. Guests got the full aloha treatment and weren't disappointed with the Hawaiian hospitality.
Some guests were disappointed with rooms that were removed from the main resort. You have to walk to garden view rooms located across the street. While some guests liked the quieter pool and surrounding area of the garden rooms, others were not so happy with the unexpected walk.
With broken air conditioners and TVs, thin walls, and outdated furnishings, some felt that the Sheraton Kauai Resort was starting to show its age. While repairs were made promptly to malfunctioning amenities, several guests felt the hotel looked a bit tired and in need of an overhaul.
A pricey restaurant menu made guests want to explore other dining options. Some guests wished for better value for their money, and weren't happy that food was harder to come by in the later evening hours.
