Sheraton Pasadena is located right in the heart of Pasadena close to top attractions such as Rose Bowl (4.1 km from hotel), Norton Simon Museum (17-minute walk), Paseo Colorado (6-minute walk), among other attractions. There are plenty of fine eateries close to the hotel as well as clothing stores and some great spots teeming with abundant nightlife.
Restaurant Soleil serves excellent Italian cuisine that is inspired by Mediterranean themes. Charlie's Bar has extremely innovative barmen who serves exotic cocktails such as the delicious mango infusion that you just can't get anywhere else. Guests have reported that the romantic ambiance inside the restaurant and the bar makes you want to keep coming back for more.
You walk in and are greeted by warm smiles by the hotel's courteous staff. Guests have reported that not only is the staff here very accommodating but other guests too seem to be very friendly. And while many hotels that allow pets in only seem to tolerate them, this hotel is very pet-friendly and your pet is treated like royalty. Pets of up to 40lbs are allowed in the rooms.
Sheraton Pasadena provides Wi-Fi in all parts of the hotel including some pretty remote locations. A few guests have however complained that the Internet is quite weak in the rooms. Other guests have wondered why the hotel charges for its Internet unlike many four-star establishments which provide it as a complimentary service.
Several guests have reported that some facilities in the rooms have been run down. The carpets are old with large visible stains, the bathrooms sometimes have clogged sinks, while the AC units don't have options for low enough temperature settings.
Some guests can get pretty rowdy shouting down the hallways and disrupting everybody's sleep at night. Apparently the hotel mostly operates a hands-off policy and does not intervene until things get too much out of hand.
