Despite being near the highway, the hotel offers quiet accommodations, but guests really liked being so close to it, since it makes travel throughout the city easy. Being within walking distance of a supermarket, a strip mall with ample shopping opportunities and a few restaurants was much appreciated.
The hotel has rather affordable rates, and paired with the comfortable beds, decent-sized showers and a free basic breakfast were noted to be a decent value.
Guests noted that the staff was friendly even when checking in late at night, and the employees were accommodating and helpful.
Upon first entering the hotel, guests noted that the lobby appeared old and dingy, and this impression continued with the elevators also being in need of an upgrade. While a few guests pointed out that the rooms had some new touches like upgraded décor, several guests found their accommodations to be rather old. They cited frayed and permanently stained bedding, cracked doors and old shower tubs.
While some guests found their rooms to be very clean, others were not as pleased with the housekeeping staff's efficiency. They reported finding hair in the beds and tubs, dirt and rust in the fridge, soiled bathroom floors, toilets and sinks and stained carpets.
Several guests who had specifically booked non-smoking rooms pointed out how those had evidence of smoking nonetheless, so you'd better not count on that.
