Hoping for a relaxing mountain getaway? Guests to this inn & suite location in Cherokee, NC says this destination fits the bill. The hotel is within the Smoky Mountains and provides some great views. Oconaluftee Indian Village is only a mile from the resort, as is the Museum of the Cherokee Indian. Harrahs Casino Resort is two miles away, and Oconaluftee Islands Park and Bryson City are both roughly a 15-minute drive. Thus, guests feel that there is an ample amount of local activities to enjoy.

Guests here suggest that the pool is a big plus. Unlike a coastal destination, there's not always an immediate body of water to enjoy, so the on-site, clean pool is an important amenity to many. Guests report it's a fantastic way to cool off after a long day of hiking.

The staff at Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites receive high marks from the guests. There's a courteous professionalism that seems to imbue everything the work force here does.
