About Sorell Barracks

Sorell Barracks BnB was built in 1827 originally as an Army Officer's Barracks. It is a Heritage Listed Building which has been restored and renovated into an beautiful colonial style Bed and Breakfast. The gardens are beautiful along with the quaint rooms. We have barbecue facilities and a Pizza Oven for guests use. We provide all utensils necessary. There is plenty of chairs and tables available to enjoy the garden areas. We are located 10 mins from the Hobart airport and 25 mins from Hobart city. We are a gateway for many of the tourist destinations, e.g., Port Arthur, Richmond, Wineries, Cheese Factories and Chocolate Factories, Zoodoo and many more exciting places to visit. Your hosts live on site so late checkins are no problem.
