The soundproofing was said to be somewhat lacking as guests objected to the fact that they could hear conversations and the sounds of water running form the adjoining rooms which they described as quite intrusive.
Some of the guests reported that they were not able to get a good night's sleep as the beds were quite squeaky which meant that they were woken up every time they turned.
The check-in time is restricted to 4 o'clock which some guests found rather late whilst others objected to the rather basic room amenities and said they would have liked to have had televisions and hospitality trays in their en-suites.
