The hotel's proximity to the airport and the free shuttle provided is a big plus point, making the hotel convenient for stopovers and overnight stays etc. The hotel is also very convenient for shopping, eating out and other attractions, said guests. The wooded area and nice views are a bonus.

The indoor pool at the SpringHill Suites Grand Rapids Airport Southeast is small and rather inadequate according to several guests. When the hotel has a lot of guests, it tends to be overcrowded with yelling kids said the reviews.
The hotel does tend to host conferences and groups of youth in town for sporting events and so on. This tends to make things rather boisterous and noisy, and the noise can continue well into the night pointed out several guests.
At times the hotel can appear understaffed and guests perceived this as a non-caring attitude. The cleanliness and upkeep issues reported were stray rather than repeated. Fake eggs were reportedly served at breakfast, which did not go down well with guests.
