Springkell is a beautiful and relaxed hotel in Lockerbie. Built from 1734 in Palladian Style the hotel is family owned and run. Normally we have weddings at the weekends, Friday to Sunday morning and then we are open as a hotel from Sunday through to Friday morning. With 50 x 5 star reviews, 2 x 4 star and 2 x 3 star we must be doing something right. Very peaceful and the food is superb. Only 2 and half miles from the M74 and set within it's own grounds. Do come and relax with us! We have 8 bedrooms, including 2 honeymoon suites voted in the best 25 in the UK, 1 very large bedroom, 2 family rooms and 3 luxury bedrooms. All individually designed with top of the range Hypnos Beds - super comfortable. Walk in our grounds in the day and we have a river nearby. There's a very well stocked bar with West 4 lager, Black Sheep, Guinness and Thatchers Gold Cider. And we stock over 70 fine wines. Free safe parking at the front. Stunning views over well maintained gardens and rolling pastures with many varieties of hard woods including some very old oaks. You are staying in a genuine mansion house with quite a distinctive feel. And by staying with us you are helping us to preserve a lovely historic house.
