The rooms and villas all are ecofriendly and are located in the jungle. The minimal style of the accommodations was picked to reflect the simplicity of life itself. Make no mistake though, just because it’s minimalist doesn’t mean it isn’t beautiful. The resort features cable television, air conditioning, telephones, and other essential amenities. Many rooms also have a lock box for precious items. There are four dining places to choose from on the island. Most of the dining establishments also have bars included to help one party like a native. Sharing the island with three cultural groups means there is a lot to do. Guests can participate in many activities such as day snorkelling, kayaking in the mangroves, and elephant treks.

Guests rave about the relaxed and tranquil nature of this resort. Massages, poolside drinks, activities for the children, make this a place where you can really relax. The evening sunset happy hour makes the relaxation complete.
Guests who spent a great deal of time on the private beach raved about the service and the views. Better still, for those disinclined to disconnect, the Wi-Fi was strong enough to reach to the beach. The hotel offers water equipment use for free, including kayaks, so guests can get out on their own and explore.
Guests just loved the picturesque setting of these cottages. Nestled into the canopy of the jungle behind, and the ocean lapping at the front door, many who stayed there didn't want to leave. Some guests stated that in the early morning they would see monkeys in the trees.
Many guests were shocked to check into their rooms only to find that they hadn't been cleaned or straightened from the previous guests. Though they advertise daily housekeeping services, many of the guests didn't see evidence of any housekeeping during their entire stay and more than once had to ask for fresh towels.
The indoor housekeeping is an issue, and apparently the outdoor housekeeping isn't much better. The pools, though placed in a beautiful location, aren't maintained, and a great deal of debris is in there at any given time. Better to just go to the beach.
Most guests expressed their disappointment in the dated and worn appearance of the public spaces, especially in the lobby and breakfast areas. Guests agreed that a little more training and perhaps hiring some more staff would make all the difference at this hotel.
