Guests said that their accommodations were perfectly located, at an easy drive from popular downtown. They added that it was a great base from which to explore the amazing local attractions, including the 1000 Islands.

Happy guests said that they received a warm welcome from the staff at these lodgings. They said that the crew was friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to share the best of local tips and treats with their guests.

Guests thought that the combination of simple bed and breakfast-type accommodations with a good hotel’s eye for detail made these accommodations and excellent and easily affordable choice. They said that their rooms were spacious and well equipped, including linens, towels, toiletries as well as useful amenities such as a fridge. Guests added that they appreciated the complimentary breakfast offered on the weekends. They said that they felt secure throughout their stay, and appreciated the ample parking facilities.

Guests grumbled that housekeeping at this establishment could have done a better job. They said that it was not uncommon to arrive and find their room unmade. They added that the general standard of cleanliness in their rooms did not rise to an acceptable level, and even found that “freshly” dispensed linens questionable.

Guests complained that Wi-Fi access at this establishment tended to suddenly fail -and fail completely, at times, up until the end of their stay.

Guests sighed that they would have appreciated a few more creature comforts, including an in-room TV, even if for an extra charge. They also wished for an ice-machine, and for the amenities provided in the shared kitchen to suit the expected amount of guests, especially at breakfast time.
