All apartments are spacious and clean, and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. Guests appreciated the natural light that can enter the rooms, as well as the sound of the nearby beach. Some rooms even have cosy fireplaces.
Whether hotel facilities or room amenities, each was fully functional and spotlessly clean. Some rooms have hot tub or spa which guests enjoyed, and the in-room kitchens were really appreciated. A lot of guests said everything was very comfortable!
The property is perfect for those who wanted to stay close to Agate Beach, and ideal for watching the California grey whales feed in the shallow bays. Moreover, it is also close to a number of tourist attractions, such as the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area and Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Many guests were disappointed that the cleaners had extremely smelly plug-in air fresheners. They said the smell was suffocating the first time they entered the rooms, but was abruptly gone the moment they opened their windows.
Previous guests complained to the front desk about other occupants and some staff members smoking within the premises. They reported that the smoke at the hallways near their rooms and the odour of the cigarette bothered them throughout their stay.
A number of guests complained that the hot water in the Jacuzzi was not really hot, and the lukewarm bath was not relaxing but disappointing. Others also reported that they found strands of hair on the hot tub.
