About Step Back Inn

Step Back Inn is a Victorian Decor, 1800's style inn with each room named after a pioneer family and a story about that family in the room. Aztec is located in the beautiful Animas Valley and home of the Aztec Ruins. You can walk to the ruins across the Animas River from the Step Back Inn. You can also walk to 7 different eating establishments within 3 blocks. The community has wonderful things to see and do. If you choose to stay with us you will start your day with our wonderful homemade cinnamon rolls... no rubber eggs here!
