The hotel is a popular venue for wedding receptions which meant that often the communal areas including the bar were filled to capacity with guests. Resident guests were not able to access the rooftop bar area at times when receptions were held on-site mu
Guests whose rooms were on the higher floors said they were able to hear loud music and noise from the rooftop bar which often lasted until late at night.
Those whose rooms were close to the restaurant said that they were able to smell smoke and unpleasant fumes emanating from the kitchen and were therefore reluctant to open their windows.
