Hotel Sunshine Holiday Resort (Oludeniz, Turkey)

Rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Guests loved the picturesque views of the setting sun over the hills of Ovacik.

The location of the resort on the foot of the mountain is beautiful. It is close to Fethiye and Ölüdeniz centres and the lively town of Hisaronu.

No other recent positive opinion has been expressed by guests about this resort.

Most guests found the food served in the on-site restaurant to be passable or almost inedible. The guests felt that the dining room looked more like a school canteen. They were surprised that enough omelettes were not served for breakfast. Sometimes there was no diet coke or even water to drink. Some guests saw uneaten food recycled. On one occasion, a whole potato was served with skin on. The toaster seems to be out of order most of the time. They also saw that the metal trays on which food was served had stains. The hotel constantly ran out of spirits. Guests also complained that the restaurant staff did not wear uniforms. They sat and ate in the same dining room along with the guests. This was not appreciated.

Guests found the pool and the pool area to be unclean with lots of plastic cups strewn around. Loud music was played every evening and guests did not find it conducive to a relaxing environment. They were also not impressed with the performances at the kids' entertainment programme by the pool. While using the whirlpool tub, guests found that the floor soaked as there was no shower curtain.

Many guests are of the opinion that the hotel has a great potential for better service, but it needs some serious management improvement and leadership change.
