Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston (Kingston, Canada)

This hotel was remodelled in 2015, and guests who stayed there after that commented that the job was done very nicely, and that the room and property upgrades looked great. They also thought the upgrades made the hotel look better than the average, when compared against other locations in the hotel chain.

Guests were delighted that they were able to stay here for what they considered to be very low rates. Many indicated when giving their feedback that they were on tight budgets and thought that what the hotel offered was a good value for money.

ˇGuests remarked that the hotel staff usually went out of their way to help, characteristically meeting special requests with good attitudes and smiles. They also said that the staff were very responsive and approachable.

Guests complained that there is not enough room to accommodate everyone who wanted to eat breakfast in the morning. There were also reports that guests had to take the food back to their rooms because of the lack of space, and they said that the breakfast area looked very cramped overall.

Guests said they could hear the sounds of traffic passing outside. Although the issue was not as severe when guests requested rooms further away from the road, it was still noticeable and created a disturbance that guests would have liked to avoid.

Guests were not happy about this property's remote location. They said it was not possible to walk to destinations, and felt it took too long to get to downtown destinations by car.
