Parking is a big plus
Finding a roadside hotel by a major route that is happy -- and able -- to accommodate large vehicles is no mean feat these days. Happily, the Super 8 Logan delivers on both counts -- very RV friendly indeed.
This laid-back roadside hotel is located off Highway 89 just to the south of downtown. Along with contemporary accommodations, Super 8 Logan boasts a pool and a hot tub. Tidy guest rooms with modern décor feature coffee-makers and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Microwaves and mini-fridges are also provided. Family suites are available. Guests can take a dip in the heated indoor pool and relax in an adjacent hot tub. Wi-Fi and parking (including large vehicles) is available free of charge. Children aged 17 and under stay free with an adult. A complimentary continental breakfast is served in a quaint little dining area each morning. Snack dispensing vending machines are also available outside. A number of restaurants and fast-food outlets lie within walking distance. Unlike lots of other motel-style pools, this one is heated. This means that, unlike so many other pools in this hotel price range, you can actually enjoy a dip that lasts longer than five minutes! The hot tub is a nice bonus too.
Pleasant without being too casual and effectual without being overly officious; the team here have, in the main, got the balance between personability and professionalism just about right. Excellent efforts all round.
Whilst that may look neat and modern enough from the outset, it is clear that a good number of the guest rooms here are in need of some TLC.
If you like to eat your breakfast ‘on the go’ then the lack of available seating in the hotel’s dining area is unlikely to bother you. However, if you like the idea of enjoying your morning meal in relative comfort then you’d be advised to get up early and beat the rush.
…Even though there are three floors! Suffice to say, you should reserve a ground floor room if anyone in your party is a senior or has mobility issues.
