Guests say that the Super 8 McAllen Downtown in McAllen, USA, is in a great location close to the highway but yet far enough not to be too noisy. The hotel is close to many malls. The hotel has a nice appearance overall and guests say if they are in the area, they will definitely stay here again.
Service is friendly. The staff members and the owner are very helpful and accommodating say guests. They like the good breakfast and appreciated the owner’s efforts to make them waffles in the shape of Texas every morning. They also appreciated that the free Wi-Fi is superbly fast.
The rooms open out right to the parking lot which guests find convenient. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Guests say that there is plenty of room to make them feel at home. The air conditioning works great. The cleaning staff is fast and efficient and guests say that it is a pleasure dealing with them on a daily basis.
Some guests say that the hotel is located across the street from a club. The noise from the club prevents them from having a good sleep until late in the morning. Added to this, they could hear voices and footsteps from the rooms upstairs which also proves disturbing.
The amenities like minifridge and microwave in the rooms made loud noises and guests say that they ultimately unplugged them. Some guests also find the air conditioning unit noisy.
