Everyone, from those manning the front desk to those in the on-site lounge bar, every Best Western team member will go out of their way to engage with the guests and ensure they feel at home.
The hotel is conveniently located in close proximity to Syracuse Hancock International Airport and is perfect for guests who plan to catch an early flight or are staying for a layover flight. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to the airport as well to add to this convenience. The hotel is also close to Syracuse University and a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as museums which are all easily accessible via car; guests will not be short of activities during their stay.
Guests were very taken with the large and comfortable rooms and made special mention of the large beds. In addition to being spacious, the rooms are very clean and well-maintained thanks to a daily housekeeping service that ensures they remain spotless.
While some guests found the level of cleanliness to be a positive attribute of this hotel, others felt the hotel was not clean enough and that the housekeeping staff did not do a thorough enough job.
The food offered at the complimentary breakfast is somewhat bland and lacking in choice; some guests felt that the eggs, in particular, were cooked poorly. The breakfast is considered adequate but bland by most guests.
The interior décor is on the dingy side and could do with updating; some guests found the lighting was too dark and that the furniture was tired.
