Historic lodging in a traditional family owned bed and breakfast in the former home of the daughter of the founder of the Bissell vacuum sweeper. Located in a mainly residential neighborhood in South Pasadena. Staying at the Bissell House Bed and Breakfast allows our guests to experience a step back in history in this mansion built in 1887, yet with modern conveniences. All rooms are equipped with small flat screen televisions, in room safes, extra pillows and blankets, and have private bathrooms and individual climate control (air conditioning.) Free parking is available on site as well as excellent wifi throughout property and premium cable television. Breakfast is served daily at 9am in the formal dining room. Guests can opt in for self serve continental if they prefer. Organic fresh brewed coffee is available in the mornings. Also, an organic hot tea bar is offered 24/7. Each late afternoon something sweet is offered to our overnight guests like cake, brownies or cookies.
