The food that is served up at the breakfast table is way beyond the standard continental breakfast offerings that many hotels offer. They call them gourmet breakfasts and that is exactly what they are. All of the items are freshly prepared and taste delicious.
This inn is literally a few steps from some great restaurants and a few historical spots. If you want a central location, then you can get no better, and you will have very little need of your car during your stay.
Staying in this inn is like spending the night in a piece of bona fide American history. The place is so full of character and the décor only adds to the vintage feeling. There are so many bits and pieces around the place that you'll discover something new every time that you walk through the door.
The owners do warn guests about the noise in some of the rooms, and some guests agree that the rooms aren't as soundproof as they might be. This may not be too much of a big deal especially as you already know about it before checking in.
