The Crown Inn is a traditional country pub that serves fine real ales, good home cooked food and has 4 comfortable bedrooms. The original part of the building dates back to 13th century, when , as local history has it, the building was built to house the stonemason who worked on the church opposite, which was built between 1216 and 1262. The pub offers old fashioned hospitality to all our guests, we welcome dogs at no additional cost and look forward to welcoming both dogs and their owners when they visit. We offer free wifi in all areas, there is an attractive garden for spending summer hours in and a roaring log fire for chilly winter days. Food is available all day between 12 and 9pm (except some Mondays afternoons) We have a separate restaurant but meals can be taken in the bar areas. The village of Gayton has a bus service (only daytime) and is close to Sandringham and the North Norfolk coast. Enjoy bracing walks across the wide open beaches and the Sandringham Estate nature trails offer varied walking options. Or alternatively just settle down with a tasty pint and hearty sandwich.
