Dreamcatcher boasts a wonderful located within a safe, gated community, practically right on the beach, with Old San Juan less than a ten-minute drive away. Most visitors say the location and the hotel are both really beautiful. Guests say many shops, restaurants and bars can be reached on foot from the hotel within five minutes.
The staff at Dreamcatcher is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The management even created a custom hand-drawn map of the area for its guests to make getting around town as easy as possible. They will gladly familiarize you with San Juan and give you great recommendations if you ask.
Many guests were quite impressed with vegetarian breakfast offered at Dreamcatcher. Upon arrival, you will have a choice of a breakfast or a brunch, the difference between the two being the number of courses in your meal. Guests say the offerings are delicious and there are plenty of healthy options for the diet conscious. In addition, the hotel even grows its own fruits and vegetables, so your meal may be extra special.
Some guests that stayed in rooms with shared bathrooms thought that housekeeping could to a better job cleaning the bathroom area. They say it does not appear to be cleaned or checked-on daily.
A few guests noticed that the hot water can be limited at times, and its temperature is dependent on the strength of the water flow. Thus, if you want a warmer shower, you will have to deal with weaker water pressure.
