Hotel The Haus On Mirror Lake (Lake Placid, USA)

The room, which was more like a contemporary styled apartment, was delightfully clean and well-kept. The furnishings and decor were tastefully chosen, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed, and the living room had a nice couch where guests can relax. The whole place was made beautiful, comfortable, and spacious to make guests feel at home.

Everyone who worked here were truly friendly with a sincere intention of making the stay a remarkable one. Guests were pleased at how the staff went above and beyond to ensure that their stay was comfortable and well accommodated. They also gave great recommendations on what to do and see within Lake Placid.

The location of this property is perfect since it is set right on the Main Street according to previous guests. It is centrally located near Lake Placid's restaurant and nightlife scene. Moreover, the supermarket is only five minutes' drive away.

Most negative comments come from guests who are disappointed that the property does not have a lift. People who have mobility issues can have a hard time since half of the rooms are on the second floor and the other half are on the third floor.

Street noise from commercial vehicles and bars across were loud as complained by previous guests. Light sleepers were really bothered by the disturbing noise. And so, they suggested to avoid noise, future guests must choose a room facing the lake on the top floor.

Guests were dismayed that parking here was off-site. They had no choice but to either park on the street or somewhere else that had an available parking space.
