Located just 10 miles from the city centre, and within easy reach of Carnoustie and St Andrew’s golf courses, Innkeepers Lodge South Queensferry has fantastic views overlooking the iconic Forth Road bridge and Firth of the Forth estuary. The hotel is full of charm and character and it is said that Robert Louis Stevenson wrote part of his famous novel, Kidnapped, here – there’s even a mention in the book of The Hawes Inn next door, which offers seasonally inspired pub food, regional cask ales and well-chosen fine wines.
