positive:
Highly Motivated and Trained Personnel
The outstanding impression gained from comments is of the quality of service provided by the staff, from the reception desk onwards. Thoughtful extra touches abound, but the most impressive aspect of the service given is in the dedication and training that the staff obviously enjoy. Guests were impressed that staff knew their names immediately after registration, and from then on. .
positive:
Impressive Rooms and Displays
The conference rooms and art displays impressed guests immensely. Fine attention to detail is evident. The location, next to the original Neiman Marcus store is admirable, and the architecture and fittings of the building, including its unique swimming pool, it restaurant, coffee shop and bars are found to be extraordinary. The fitness center is small but well equipped, and beds and mattresses are extremely comfortable: the standard of décor throughout is high.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Small and Expensive
It was felt that for the overnight cost the room was very small, and the outlook, onto an adjoining wall, was bleak. It is recommended to ask for a room overlooking Main Street. .
negative:
Cold and Confusing
The bathroom was found to be cold compared to the rest of the suite, and the controls on the shower confusing. .
