There is no lift in the main building and guests whose rooms were located on the upper floors said that they found the daily climb up the steep and narrow stairs rather tiring. If you have any mobility issues it's advisable to ask for a room on the lower

Quite a few guests said that they noticed signs of disrepair such as peeling paint on the window sills and broken or missing tiles in the bathrooms which led them to conclude that the rooms would benefit from refurbishment.
