About The Nutmeg Inn

The Nutmeg Inn is a historic country B&B – a respite from everyday life in the heart of the New Hampshire Lakes Region. Located just 5 minutes away from downtown Meredith and beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, the Nutmeg Inn’s provenance dates back to 1763 as the Eliphalet Rawlings Homestead. On this quiet, seven acre property, you will be transported back to a simpler time while surrounded by all the comforts of modern life. Enjoy a roaring fire in the Great Room, old movies from the extensive collection in the West Parlor, and a game of pool on the antique pool table in the Billiard Room. From May through September, enjoy a swim in our heated, in-ground swimming pool. With the resort town of Meredith and many lake and mountain attractions nearby, the Nutmeg Inn is the perfect home base for your New Hampshire vacation year round. You will love the inn’s eighteenth century charm and antiques and all of the twenty-first century comforts. The property prides itself on its hearty country breakfasts and warm hospitality. The enjoyment and comfort of guests is the first priority.
