The Rothschild 71 is a charming boutique hotel with a lot of character said guests. Located in a building dating back to 1934, the rooms are beautifully done up with lovely furniture, are spacious and very conformable. Both leisure and business visitors recommend the hotel.
The Rothschild 71 is in a very hip and trendy part of town. It is close to many restaurants and shopping areas and is also walking distance from the beach and is perfectly located for guests looking to explore the area.
Guests speak highly of the staff at the hotel and describe the personnel as courteous and very helpful; going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Coffee and snacks are available in the lobby, which guests were appreciative of.
Though beverages and snacks are served in the lobby, the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant. Guests pointed out that they had to step out for all meals including breakfast. There are plenty of options close by and the hotel provides vouchers when breakfast is paid for.
The hotel has a tie up with another establishment for guests to enjoy the use of a fitness centre. So the gym is not located onsite; it is a short distance away.
Some rooms appear to be smaller than others and some guests also pointed out the lack of windows in their room. Some guests felt that the hotel is rather expensive for the type and number of amenities offered onsite.
