About The Village House

The Village House is a hideaway lodge bordering the Bako National Park, a 25-minute drive from Kuching. Within remote natural surroundings, this hotel, constructed using indigenous wooden architecture, makes for a tranquil getaway. There is accommodation for a range of budgets, from the two luxury Rajan suites with private verandas to the two House rooms – dormitories sleeping six in bunk beds. The standard rooms include solid timber four-poster beds, rain showers and air conditioning. Guests can relax around the large swimming pool, on a reclining chair or hammock, or in the tropical gardens. The Village House also features a terrace as well as a common lounge with a library and boardgames.
