If there is one attribute of this hotel about which the guests here simply rave, it is the location which is excellent, at the centre of the town and close to the beach, a must for a seaside holiday.
The White Lion is a traditional seafront hotel in the coastal town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk, noted for its blue flag shingle beach. There are 38 rooms, divided into 'explorer' and 'sea view' categories. Many guests find that the rooms are clean and comfortable, if a bit lacking in space at times. It was also mentioned that the staff of the hotel in general is friendly, professional and courteous.
Most of the guests absolutely loved the breakfast served in the hotel restaurant, which was reportedly excellent. A few guests, however, mentioned that a self-service option for breakfast would be good, to save time in the morning, as the cooked breakfast

Some of the guests mentioned that the reception area of the hotel is rather small, so that it is only possible to Check-in or Check-out one guest at a time, making the procedure prolonged and delayed.
