The historic Thunderbird Lodge is the only hotel in Canyon De Chelly National Monument. Navajo owned and operated, the charm and comfort of the 69-room lodge, and friendly Navajo staff, add to your visit to Navajoland. Adjacent to the lodge is the Thunderbird Lodge Restaurant, located in the original trading post built in 1896. In this historic setting, visitors can enjoy regional specialties. The Restaurant offers an American and Navajo, cafeteria-style menu and is open 7-days a week. Our Three-Hour Tours leave at either 9am or 1pm and includes the following major ruins; Kokopelli Cave, Petroglyph Rock, First Ruin, Junction Ruin, Ceremonial Cave, Ledge Ruin, Antelope House Ruin in Canyon De Muerto and the White House Ruin in Canyon De Chelly.
