The staff members at the reception desk give superb services. Guests have always turned to them for any concerns, whether they have issues in their rooms or they need good restaurant recommendations. Moreover, they are also polite and friendly to all guests of the property.
Guests who were looking for the most affordable accommodation in the area appreciated this property. Not only were the room rates affordable, there were also no hidden charges and additional costs. Guests loved that they were able to stay in an expensive city without paying too much for accommodation.
There are many nearby attractions that can be reached from the property, such as the NASA/Johnson Space Centre and Armand Bayou Nature Centre. Galveston Island and the wetlands are also short drive away. What the previous guests loved most about the property's location is its convenience to various eateries and grocery stores.
Previous guests took note about the peeling paint and the blistering from the base of the walls. Many also felt that the carpets were sticky and filthy, and needed to be replaced immediately. The property in general is in need of renovation for its presentation to be improved.
The strong stench of damp right from the very reception area down to the hallways was a popular complaint among many guests. There were also guests who even felt that the damp smell was also present in their rooms.
Although they mentioned that the foods served during breakfast were delicious, guests also said that that breakfast area was far too small for the number of people staying there. Sitting down was a difficulty, as well as looking for a vacant table.
