Traveller's Rest Inn

Originally a sixteenth century coaching inn, the Travellers Rest Inn now offers hospitality to a new generation of guests. The updated inn offers nine rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms all within the oak beams and charm of an old fashioned inn. Travellers Rest Inn offers seven double rooms and two twin rooms. Each room has its own bathroom, television and tea and coffee making tools. The rooms are situated so that each window has a view of the nearby fells. The hotel offers an outdoor beer garden in the summer and fireplaces in the winter. There is no smoking on the hotel property all year round. This hotel is also an adult only facility and cannot accept families with children. The Bar Restaurant offers fare prepared from local, seasonal produce. In addition, the bar itself serves up a wide range of local beers, stouts and ales as well as a well stocked wine cellar. Travellers Rest Inn is located in the heart of the Lake District National Park and sits at the foot of Helvellyn. THe village of Grassmere is minutes away by car.
