The location couldn’t be more convenient. You are nearby Bryce Canyon Park, availability of a swimming pool at the Best Western Inn, Zion Park is lovely, and surprisingly the landscape is spectacular. There is also a Ruby’s Inn where you can shop for food, have a bite to eat, and purchase gifts.
What can you say? It’s a no-frills, basic hotel with a super price. If you’re looking for a cheap place to lay your head and luggage in the Kuban vicinity, this is it.
Some smells at the facility, in the room and corridors, will hit your nose and won’t leave no matter how hard you try! It’s like a moldy, mildew, wet type of smell. You may also encounter intensive disinfectant type smells that won’t even disappear when you open the window.
It seems that the adults disappear and a young kid, no older than 10 years of age perhaps, is handling reception doing check-in and check-outs. It makes you wonder if they are in violation of labor laws, which can make you feel uneasy. It appears that the adults speak minimal English as well.
Subliminal hints are left lying around, like envelopes in your room and a bucket in the breakfast room, so that you don’t forget to tip the staff. With the condition the hotel is in, beds slanted, dirty towels, grimy floors, tipping is the last thing on your mind!
