Traverse City MI Travelodge staff is well-trained, professional, warm, and friendly. Takes care of any problems quickly and efficiently. Though the hotel lacks a restaurant, there is a fine Shields Restaurant literally next door to the hotel. There are several great tourist attractions close by including Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf (2.8 km), Bryant Park (2.2 km), Traverse City State Park (1.9 km).
While guests are usually advised to reserve their rooms early, a few guests have reported the hotel has little trouble getting accommodation for guests who make impromptu check-ins. Unlike many hotels, the hotel charges very fair rates even for these last minute type of accommodation.
A few guests have reported that a number of bathrooms are in poor shape with mold growth on the caulking and dirty shower walls. Additionally the bathrooms are rather smallish.
The walls in the rooms at Traverse City MI Travelodge are rather thin and not adequately soundproofed. Consequently, quite a lot of noise from the outside tends to filter into the rooms.
