It's easy to explore the town and not have to drive extremely long distances to do so. The motel is also conveniently located near shops where you can pick up groceries and sundries, or grab public transit if need be.
The biggest appeal for this place is that it works as a fairly cheap place with the necessary essentials for a short stay. If you find yourself suddenly in need of a basic room, then that's what you'll get.
Rooms don't live up to the hype, and aren't what's promoted as resort” quality. They're not luxurious, spacious, or vibrant enough to well meet the desire of a more upscale lodging, and are in serious need of a makeover.
The staff don't receive consistent high praise, unfortunately. They ignore requests, aren't readily available for enquiries, and don't seem that motivated to do what their jobs entail, which is to pay close attention to guests.
You may want to bring your own toiletries, as at times, the ones here seem partially used. There isn't a full replenishment, and the towels and linens don't always seem fresh and sparkling clean.
