Guests said Vier Jahreszeiten had a top location, just a short walk away from the Salzburg Old Town, Congress and Mirabell Gardens, as well as close to bus links for Untersberg, some nice cafes and the Hauptbahnhof Train Station.
The staff here is generally said to be lovely and professional, with some great local recommendations to give and quick answers to any questions guests had. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet selection was thought good — even if a touch expensive — with fare like fresh bread, cakes, fruit and cold cuts on offer, while the food at Cafe Maranello was thought tasty, even if there is not a huge menu.
Those who stayed said the rooms proved to be clean, comfortable, simple, but nicely-furnished in keeping with the age of the building, and quiet enough for you to leave your window open if you feel like it. On top of this, a few guests appreciated the fact that they could smoke in the tastefully-decorated smoking room instead of having to head outside into the cold.
A small number of Vier Jahreszeiten guests had issues with parking and misinterpreted hotel communication around this, so keep in mind: Guests say the hotel offers no free parking on site, but free public parking is available in the weekends.
