Villa Romana is a newly built 4-star hotel situated on the picturesque beach-front bay of Porto Empedocle, on the southern shores of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. The mild Mediterranean climate is ideal for year-round pleasure. All rooms have a private terrace with views of either the sea or garden, just a few steps from the wide, sandy beaches. Service at Villa Romana is of the highest quality, ensuring all your needs are met. Our gourmet restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving typical Sicilian delicacies. Villa Romana is ideally located both leisure activities or for those who like to explore the ancient artefacts and ruins of centuries ago. The nearby harbor offers daily excursions to the Pelagie Islands. We are a short distance from the famous Turkish Steps. A short drive or bus ride delivers you to the Valley of the Temples and the city of Agrigento. The Greek temples date back to the 5th century B.C. Travel is convenient to both Palermo and Catania airports: Catania Airport 150 kms – from Catania airport take the A18 (Catania-Palermo freeway) to Caltanissetta, exiting at the SS640, following the signs to Agrige.
